<![CDATA[Introducing the All-New Sony Centre Website]]> /blog/25/Introducing_the_All_New_Sony_Centre_Website Cottonblend Fri, 24 Aug 2007 14:57:17 PDT here .]]> <![CDATA[Announcing Two New Sites in the Works]]> /blog/24/Announcing_Two_New_Sites_in_the_Works Cottonblend Fri, 29 Jun 2007 14:17:54 PDT The Hummingbird Centre and Shows in Branson, the official site of The League of Branson Theatre Owners and Show Producers.

For those unfamiliar with these exceptional entertainment destinations, allow us to explain:

The Hummingbird Centre in Toronto is the former home of The National Ballet of Canada and The Canadian Opera Company, and has had such legends as Lawrence Olivier, Mikhail Baryshnikov and Placido Domingo grace its stage. Today, the historic 3000-seat venue has repositioned itself as a “theatre for the people,” featuring diverse programs from around the world including Disney Live, Radio City Christmas Spectacular, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and acts like Tool, Radiohead, Paul Simon and John Legend.

Branson, Missouri is known as America’s mecca for live, world-class, family-friendly entertainment. The numerous theaters in the city feature music from a variety of genres, circus acts, magic, comedy and much more. The Shows in Branson website requires a quick and convenient way for visitors to browse the theaters’ entertainment calendars, view artist bios and purchase tickets. As always, we’re happy to take on the challenge!

Stay tuned for updates.

<![CDATA[Introducing The New Super Stealthy Cottonblend.com]]> /blog/21/Introducing_The_New_Super_Stealthy_Cottonblend_com Cottonblend Thu, 03 May 2007 11:56:22 PDT
So what's new on Cottonblend.com? Well, for starters, we have a cool new effect we call "Dim the Lights," which is incorporated in the blog section of the site. It lets you bring the post you're reading to the forefront while darkening the rest of the site. Go ahead and click “Dim the Lights” at the bottom of this post to see what we mean.

We have two main style skins for you to choose from: Hotness and Freedom. There’s a bonus style lurking in the bushes of the site. See if you can find it ;-)

We're also proud of the content management system we've developed and want to give you a chance to try it out. Go to the CMS demo to give it a whirl.

For the UI widgets we’ve created, we have a new section called "Sandbox" where you can check out the new widgets and get a general overview of what they can accomplish and how they can be customized.

We also want to connect with you! There are links to our cribs at MySpace, Flickr and Virb.com under the DASHBOARD to the left.

We know you're busy, so we made getting updates from us super easy. We have multiple RSS feeds to which you can subscribe:

• RSS feed of the latest news posts
• RSS feed of the comments of a specific news posts
• RSS feed of a certain post category
• RSS feed of a certain search keyword

We do recommend Bloglines as an RSS reader, but you can use whichever reader you're comfortable with.

Last but not least, we want you to meet the team and get to know us a little better.]]>

We are very interested in new technology here at Cottonblend, and Noisetap is the first of many Web 2.0 sites that we will be building in the coming year. We wanted to give the music community a cool, unique way to share news, rumors, opinions, etc. where the most compelling content rises to the top (based on our ranking algorithm)... Full Interview
